The AI-powered Recruitment Agent automates your candidate screening process through live, interactive AI-led interviews and intelligent evaluations.
This feature generates role-specific core questions based on your job metadata, conducts real-time conversational interviews, and dynamically asks follow-up questions to probe for specific examples and measurable metrics—helping you identify top talent faster.
What candidates experience
Invited candidates receive an email with a unique link to a real-time, video-based AI interview. Unlike a recording, the AI interviewer conducts a dynamic two-way conversation, greeting the candidate by name.
Key features:
- Real-time Interaction: The AI listens and asks follow-up questions to clarify brief answers or prompt for STAR method examples (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
- Completion Timeline: Candidates have 7 days to finish. The system sends daily email reminders and an SMS nudge on Day 2.
- Candidate Q&A: Job seekers can ask the AI questions about the role at the end of the session.

Set up AI-powered Recruitment Agent
Before you begin: You must have an active job posting to enable the Recruitment Agent.
- Go to Recruitment > Recruitment > Jobs.
- Select the job you want to add the Recruitment Agent to by clicking on the job title.
- On the job details page, click the Recruitment Agent button in the top right corner.
- In the pop-up, click Enable Recruitment Agent.
- Click on the hiring stage where you want to add the agent (typically Screening).
- In the Recruitment Agent Interview tile, click the Enable Recruitment Agent button.
- You'll now see the AI-generated questions based on your job description.
The Recruitment Agent automatically generates Core Questions tailored to your role. During the live interview, the AI uses these as a foundation to dynamically ask follow-up questions based on the candidate's unique answers.
- Review the questions.
- Click View scorecard to see the specific "Good" vs "Bad" criteria the AI will use to evaluate both core responses and follow-up depth.
- To edit, click the pencil icon next to the question. Modify the text and click Save and Generate Rubric to update the AI's logic.
- To reorder, click the Reorder questions link in the top right and drag each tile using the hamburger icon (≡).
After reviewing everything, click the Continue to candidates button.
Jobs with an active Recruitment Agent display a sparkle icon (✨) on the main Jobs page to indicate the agent is enabled.
- From the job's candidate list, click the Move to dropdown button on a candidate's profile and select the stage where the AI agent is active.
- Review the pre-populated email, which includes details about the live AI-led experience and the unique link.
- Click Move & Send. Note: Automated email and SMS reminders will be sent periodically until the candidate completes their interview.
- Navigate to the candidate's profile. You can either do this through the Candidates tab, or by clicking a job page and selecting a candidate's card.
- Click the Evaluation tab.
- Summary: Review the high-level Strengths and Considerations identified by the AI during the interaction.
- Detailed Analysis: Review the AI-powered scoring for each question, which includes the AI's "working out" and logic.
- Playback and Transcription: Click Play Video Interview to watch specific video segments or read the live transcript of any individual question interaction.
Frequently asked questions
The AI acts like a live recruiter. If a candidate’s answer is too short or vague, the AI will ask follow-up questions to prompt for specific examples and measurable details.
We recommend 4–8 core questions. Since the AI adds its own follow-up questions, the full interview usually takes 15–30 minutes.
No. You can use the Evaluation tab to jump directly to specific question segments or read the AI-generated transcripts.
One credit is used each time a candidate completes an interview. Credits are based on your plan and reset at the start of every billing cycle.
Grace period — ends April 1, 2026
Credit limits are not enforced during the grace period. You can use the Recruitment Agent without interruption until April 1, 2026, even if you exceed your limit.
