Hero Points are a digital currency you receive from your employer to recognise your hard work, birthdays, or work anniversaries. You can accumulate these points and redeem them for digital gift cards at a wide range of retailers through the Perks Store.
This guide explains how to check your balance and spend your points.
Getting started
Before you start shopping, it is helpful to know how many points you have available. You can view your current Hero Points balance and transaction history in two places:
- Web Platform: Navigate to Benefits & Perks > My Points.
- Mobile (EH Work App): Tap the Money or Perks tab to view your balance at the top of the screen.
Once you are ready to spend your points, follow these steps:
- Open the EH Work App on your mobile device or log in to the Web platform.
- Navigate to the Perks Store.
- Browse the available digital gift cards (e.g., Starbucks, Best Buy, Uber).
- Select the item you wish to purchase.
- At checkout, choose to pay using your Hero Points.
Splitting Payments
If you do not have enough points to cover the full cost of the item, you can often split the payment. This allows you to use your available points and pay the remaining difference with a credit card.
