Manage your Employment Hero HR Platform accounts directly from the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre using our software provisioning integration. This feature streamlines and automates the account creation process for your entire team.
To get started, you will need Microsoft 365 Business Plan or above to use software provisioning with the Employment Hero.
Getting started
- Click on People, then select the Employee List sub-menu.
- Select the employee that you would like to view.
- In the Employee Records section, select the Account Provisioning option.
- Click the Three Dots button.
- Click the Create Account button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Assign username.
- Send immediatly.
- Date.
- Time.
- Update employees company email to email above.
- Click the Create button. You will receive confirmation that the account has been created, and that an email has been sent to the employee.
- You can also see your list of employees via your Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
Daily activities
Remove data
- Click on People, then select the Employee List sub-menu.
- In the Employee Records section, select the Account Provisioning option.
- Click the Three Dots button.
- Click the Deactivate Account button
- The employee's status in your Microsoft 365 Admin Centre will also state that their sign-in is blocked.
Helpful Hint
The account of any employee added through the software provisioning tab will not be deactivated when you disconnect your Microsoft 365 account. You will need to remove that account manually.
Further Information
There are three statuses that can apply to an account:
- No access: Employee has no known access to the connected application.
- Active: Employee currently has an active account with the connected application.
- Deactivated: Employee has an account with the connected application, but it is currently deactivated/inactive/suspended.
No, we currently cannot sync manager data from EH to Microsoft 365 when creating or linking an account in Microsoft 365.
When a Microsoft 365 account is connected to an employee in Employment Hero (EH), the following data is captured:
