Creating an Indeed Account:

1. Go to Indeed.
2. Sign up using your work email for easier verification.
3. Set up two-factor authentication (2FA) via SMS or app.
4. If in job seeker view, click Employers/Post Job in the upper-right corner.
5. Enter your company details.
6. Complete account verification.

Connect to Indeed

1. In the Recruitment module, go to the Job Boards tab and select the Indeed tile. 
2. Enter your business details and website. 
3. Check your email for a verification link; your status will remain "pending" until verified.

Connecting requires opting into sharing "disposition data" (hiring status updates). This only applies to candidates who applied via Indeed.

Updates (e.g., moving a candidate from "New" to "Interview") are sent to Indeed with a timestamp. This data is anonymized and contains no personal information.

What are the benefits?

Sharing hiring signals improves applicant quality through better ad targeting. It also awards you a "Responsive Employer" badge, increasing candidate trust.

Can I rescind my permission to share disposition data?

Yes. Uncheck the box in the Indeed tile settings. Note: This removes your "Responsive Employer" badge and may decrease job post performance.

Once connected, jobs posted to your careers page automatically sync to Indeed as free, organic posts. You can sponsor posts as well.

Linking your account to your ATS provider (EH Account)

Contact Indeed support to "claim the source" of the EH integration. Do this via your Indeed account or the Help Center.

Why isn’t my job showing?

Staffing and recruitment agencies are ineligible for organic posts; these jobs must be sponsored to appear.

Why can I not post my job ads on Indeed?

Ensure that:

• The source name used during connection matches your previous Indeed posting name.
• You have sponsored the job if you are a recruitment or staffing agency.
