Use the To-Do List to track and manage tasks. Depending on your role, you can review, approve, or reassign items to maintain workflow.
Managing Tasks
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard and select Create Task.
- Define the Name & Description.
- Select an Owner. (Note: Assigning a team creates individual tasks for each member.)
- Set the Assigned Date (notification date) and Due Date.
- Add Collaborators (available for Premium/Platinum plans only) or Subtasks if needed.
- Click Create.
Important
Only pending tasks can be edited.
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard
- Click the three dots > View All Tasks.
- Click Action > Edit next to the task.
- Update details and click Save.
Warning
Creators can re-assign tasks they made; Admins and Owners can re-assign any task.
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard.
- Click the three dots > View All Tasks.
- Click Action > Edit.
- In the Owner field, select the employee being re-assigned the task.
- Click Save.
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard> Click the three dots > View All Tasks.
- Click Action > Delete and confirm.
Daily Activity
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard.
- Use the Filter bar and Features field to narrow results. Click Apply.
- Click a task to view its details in a pop-up.
This list includes policies, certifications, HR documents, leave requests, and performance reviews.
Available for Admins only:
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard.
- Click the three dots > View All Tasks.
- Click the Download CSV button in the upper right corner.
Completing Tasks
Creators can mark tasks complete on the owner's behalf.
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard.
- Find the task and click on the link to view the task.
- Select the checkbox next to the task name or subtask item to mark it as completed.
Comments
- Navigate to the To Do List widget on your Dashboard.
- Find the task and click on the link to view the task.
- Add a comment: In the Activity field, type your comment and click the paper plane icon to save it
- Edit/Delete a comment: Click the three dots on your comment and select Edit or Delete.
Further information
Yes. You can assign tasks to external email addresses (e.g., for onboarding/offboarding), which triggers an email notification to that inbox.
