The Offboarding Checklist feature allows admins to automate and manage the exit process with precision. By organizing tasks into groups, you can ensure that the right teams or individuals are notified the moment an employee begins their transition.

Getting started
Go to Settings > Recruitment & Onboarding > Onboarding & Offboarding Checklists
Select the Offboarding tab.
Click + Add Offboarding Checklist, enter a Name, and choose if it applies to "All employees" or a "Specific team."
Click Add Task to enter the task Name and Description.
Select whether to notify Administrators, Managers, Employees, or Other owners. Note that the "Administrators" option excludes account owners.
Ensure the due date is at least 1 day before the termination date to prevent notification errors.
Click the Subtask button to add granular steps if needed, then save your changes.
Helpful Hint
Repeat steps 4 to 7 for each task that needs to be assigned to the offboarding checklist.
- Click the Save button.
Editing data
Go to Settings > Recruitment & Onboarding > Onboarding & Offboarding Checklists
Select the Offboarding tab.
- Click the three dots under the Actions column and click Edit.
- Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Go to Settings > Recruitment & Onboarding > Onboarding & Offboarding Checklists
Select the Offboarding tab.
- Click the three dots under the Actions column and click Edit.
- Find the task you want to edit, click the Actions dropdown and select Edit.
- Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Deleting data
Go to Settings > Recruitment & Onboarding > Onboarding & Offboarding Checklists
Select the Offboarding tab.
- Click the three dots under the Actions column and click Delete.
- In the confirmation pop-up, click the Delete button.
Go to Settings > Recruitment & Onboarding > Onboarding & Offboarding Checklists
Select the Offboarding tab.
- Click on the offboarding checklist you want to edit.
- Find the task you want to delete, click the Actions dropdown and select Delete.
Further information
An off-boarding task triggers once you enter a termination date for an active employee. The workflow for this process is:
- An Admin terminates and offboards the employee.
- The task owner receives an email notification on the due date.
- The task owner can use the Click Here button to access their assigned task.
- The platform will take the task owner to the My Tasks feature, where they can view, action, and complete their assigned offboarding tasks.
