The Perks Store offers a wide range of digital gift cards at discounted prices, integrated via Prezzee. In Canada, you can access over 58 local brands (such as Tim Hortons, Indigo, and Uber Eats) directly through your platform.
Daily activities
- Click the Benefits & Perks menu.
- Click the Perks Store submenu.
- Use the search bar or filters to find a specific brand (e.g., Tim Hortons, Gap, or Indigo).
- Click on the gift card you wish to buy.
- Select the desired amount/denomination.
- Review the How it works and T&Cs tabs on the product page before buying.
- Click the Buy Now button.
- On the checkout page, use the Hero Points slider to apply any available points to your purchase. Helpful Hint: If your Hero Points do not cover the full amount, the remaining balance must be paid via credit card.

Review the final price and fees:
- Service Fee: A 0.5% service fee is already included in the displayed gift card price.
- Transaction Fee: A 1.1% credit card fee applies to any portion of the purchase paid via card.
- Click the Pay button and enter your details in the secure Stripe pop-up to complete the purchase.
Warning
For security, Employment Hero does not email gift card details. You can only access them through the platform or the EH Work mobile application.
- Click the Benefits & Perks menu.
- Click the Order History submenu.
- Click the Detail button next to your purchase.
- Click the downward-facing arrow next to the card to reveal the digital code and PIN.
- To view specific instructions for use, click the How to redeem link.
Important
Your gift card is Active as long as a balance is displayed (e.g., Balance $100). If you have fully used the card or it has expired, the balance will disappear and show as Used or Expired.
Click the Benefits & Perks menu, then click the My Points submenu. Your Hero Points balance will be displayed at the top of the screen.
Note: In Canada, the conversion is approximately $1 CAD to 20 Hero Points.

- Visa or Mastercard (Debit/Credit) via Stripe.
- Hero Points (where balance is available).
Note: Earned Wage Access (EWA) is not available for Perks Store purchases in Canada.
