Compare your actual scheduled hours and wages against your set budget in one view.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click the Budget button.
  3. Click the Overview tab.
  4. Select your Work Site and Week from the drop-down menus.
Create a daily hour budget

Set specific hourly limits for each day of the week.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click the Budget button.
  3. Click the Hour Budget tab.
  4. Select the Work Site and Week.
  5. Set the budget period to Daily.
  6. Enter the hours for each date and click Save Budget.
Create a daily wage budget

Set a maximum spend in dollars for each day.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click the Budget button.
  3. Click the Wage Budget tab.
  4. Select the Work Site and Week.
  5. Set the budget period to Daily.
  6. Enter the dollar amounts for each date and click Save Budget.
Create a weekly hour budget

Set one total hourly limit for the entire week.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click the Budget button.
  3. Click the Hour Budget tab.
  4. Select the Work Site and Week.
  5. Set the budget period to Weekly.
  6. Enter the total weekly hours and click Save Budget.
Create a weekly wage budget

Set one total dollar limit for the entire week.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click the Budget button.
  3. Click the Wage Budget tab.
  4. Select the Work Site and Week.
  5. Set the budget period to Weekly.
  6. Enter the total weekly wage amount and click Save Budget.

How do I turn on a schedule warning?

If you are nearing your budget limit, then you can apply warnings to appear on the shifts as a reminder.

  1. Go to Time > Scheduling Management.
  2. Click on the Gear Icon (Settings) button.
  3. Here, you will see the Schedule rules and warnings section.
  4. For any rules and warnings you would like to set, switch the toggle to the right to turn the setting on.
  5. Choose from the following rules and warnings:
    • Enable minimum same-day gap warning
    • Enable minimum gap warning over different days warning
    • Enable maximum continuous days warning
    • Enable maximum days in a week warning
    • Enable expired certification warning
    • Enable missing certification warning
  6. Once you have chosen your rules and warnings, click Save.
