There are distinct differences in platform access between employees and independent contractors. Specifically, independent contractors have limited feature access and do not synchronize with integrated payroll platforms.
Default Access Levels
- Independent Contractors: Limited to specific dashboard features and tasks assigned directly to them.
- Employees (No Direct Reports): Access is restricted to their personal profile, the dashboard, and enabled side menu items.
- Employees (Managers): Those with direct reports automatically receive access to their team’s profiles and additional management tools.
