In the Canadian Employment Operating System (EOS), security is a top priority. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an essential layer of protection that ensures your sensitive organizational data remains secure.

It is important for administrators to regularly monitor which members of the workforce have activated this security feature. The 2FA Reporting tool allows you to audit your organization's security posture by generating a detailed list of employees and their current 2FA status. You can view this data in real-time or export it for external compliance reviews.

Getting started

Creating a 2-Factor Authentication Report

Follow these steps to identify which Canadian employees have or have not secured their accounts with 2FA.

  1. Log in to the Employment Hero platform.
  2. On the left-hand primary sidebar, click the Reports menu icon.
  3. Click the Other Reports tab located at the top of the reporting dashboard.
  4. Locate and click the 2-Factor Authentication tile.
  5. Filter Your Search: Click the Search/Filter button to refine your data based on the following:
    • Personnel: Search for a specific Canadian team member.
    • Teams: Narrow the report to specific departments or provincial branches.
    • Status: Select Enabled (secured), Disabled (unsecured), or Any (all employees).
  6. Click the Search button to refresh the list.
Exporting Security Data

For internal audits or to provide a security summary to your Canadian IT team, you can download the report in an Excel-friendly format.

  1. Navigate to Reports Other Reports 2-Factor Authentication.
  2. Apply your required filters (e.g., Status: Disabled) and click Search.
  3. Once the data is displayed, click the Download CSV button at the top right of the table.
  4. The file will be generated and saved to your browser's downloads folder for immediate use.
