Operations: Detailed Insights into HR Operations

The Operations section of the Reports module allows you to drill down into the daily mechanics of your workforce, from headcount and turnover to localized time and attendance data.

People Reporting: Visualize Your Workforce Data

When planning HR strategy and staffing requirements in different provinces, it is vital to have accurate reporting on workforce trends. People report your employee data in easy-to-understand charts.

  • Workforce Snapshot: Shows a breakdown of your team by gender, employment type, and age group.

  • Tenure Report: Indicates how long employees have been with your organization. This can be filtered by status, teams, and Canadian locations.

  • Turnover Report: Tracks how many employees have left over a given period, which helps identify retention issues within specific teams.

  • Headcount Report: Displays your total headcount on any specific date, broken down by employment type and work location.

  • Termination Report: Shows terminated employees, including their location and specific reason for termination.

Accessing People Reports:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu on the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Click on the People tab.

  • Leave Taken Report: Analyzes leave requests over a specific period to track how much time off is being utilized.

Accessing Leave Reports:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and click on the Time tab.

  • Timesheet Reporting: Generates a report on submissions flowing from EH Work clock-in/out events, showing start/end times, breaks, and total hours.

  • Live View Report: Displays real-time clock-in activity, including geolocation and any photos taken via the EH Work app.

  • Schedule vs. Timesheet Comparison: Allows you to compare actual attendance against scheduled shifts to identify inconsistencies and manage labour costs.

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and click on the Time tab.

 

Development: Empowering Your Top Performers

Actionable data in the Development section helps you track employee engagement, growth, and upskilling efforts.

Performance Reporting

  • Performance Review Reporting: Tracks the completion status of assigned reviews and allows admins to send bulk reminders to managers and staff.

  • 1:1 Report: Breaks down the frequency and quality of one-on-one sessions, allowing you to drill into individual discussion points.

  • Goals (OKRs) Reporting: Tracks progress toward organizational objectives. This includes Employees with Goal Set reports and Employee Alignment reports.

  • 9-Box Talent Grid: Categorizes employees by performance vs. future potential to assist with leadership talent and succession planning.

Accessing Performance Reports:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and click on the Performance tab.

  2. For 1:1 Reports, click on the Engagement tab.

Reward, Recognition, and Learning

  • Recognition Reporting: Shows which employees are sending and receiving recognition tied to company values. This can be used to manage Hero Points.

  • Assigned Learning Report: Tracks the progress of employees on their assigned training material, including enrollment and completion status.

Accessing Engagement and Learning Reports:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and click on the Engagement (for Recognition) or Development (for Learning) tab.

 

Compliance and Risk: Keeping Your Organization Secure

These tools help Canadian admins check on risk areas and address them before they impact business operations.

  • Audit Trail: Tracks every change made on the platform, including who made the change and when, ensuring total accuracy in your records.

  • Compliance Reports: Track whether employees have acknowledged policies or signed HR documents. This includes Certifications Reporting to manage expiring licenses.

  • Safety Incident Report: Provides specifics on workplace safety incidents as reported by employees or contractors.

  • Work Eligibility Reporting: For employees who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents, this tracks visa status and work eligibility.

  • 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) Report: Shows which employees have enabled 2FA, which is a mandatory security layer for accessing sensitive pay data in Canada.

  2. For 2-Factor Authentication, click on Other Reports.

If a pre-built report does not meet your specific needs, the Report Wizard allows you to create customized analytics using hundreds of data points.

  • Real-time Updates: Data in custom reports updates automatically as your workforce changes.

  • Visualizations: You can add charts to any custom report for easier data visualization.

  • Flexible Data Points: Build reports on specific Canadian requirements, such as provincial tax details, custom onboarding fields, or specific certification types.

Accessing the Report Wizard:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu.

  2. Click the Create New button to launch the wizard.
