A Quick Response (QR) code stores information such as URLs (web addresses) or contact details, readable by smartphones and QR scanners. 

How do I scan a QR code?

Most smartphones can scan QR codes using the built-in Camera app. Follow the steps below:

1. Open the built-in Camera app on your smartphone.

2. Point the camera at the QR code.

3. Tap the banner that appears on your screen.

4. You should then be taken to the link in your browser.

Troubleshooting

Check your mobile operating system version

• If you are using an iOS (Apple) device, you will need iOS 11 or higher. Learn how to update your iOS version.

• If you are using an Android device, you will need Android 9 (Pie) or higher. Learn how to update your Android version.

• If you are using another device, please refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines on QR scanning support.

Turn up your brightness

Make sure your computer screen is bright enough for your device to detect the QR code.

Move your device further or closer

Check that the entire QR code is in focus on your camera screen.
