The Post Insights feature provides administrators with detailed engagement analytics for Company Feed posts. You can view metrics such as reactions, comments, and read confirmations to understand how employees are interacting with your announcements, recognitions, shoutouts, and other posts.

Helpful Hint: Post Insights are available only to administrators and owners. This data is not visible to individual employees or managers.

Getting Started with Post Insights

Access Post Insights for a post
  1. Navigate to the Company Feed in full-screen view.
  2. Locate the post you want to view insights for.
  3. Click the More button (three dots) on the post.
  4. Select View Insights from the dropdown menu.

The Post Insights panel will open on the right side, displaying engagement data for the post.

Helpful Hint: Post Insights show real-time engagement data, so you can check at any time after a post is published.

Understanding Post Insights Data

Engagement metrics and Who Engaged

Post Insights displays the following engagement metrics:

  • Reactions - Total emoji reactions and breakdown.
  • Comments - Total number and individual comment view.
  • Read Status - Only for announcements requiring confirmation.
Important: Read Status is only available if "Require confirmation" was selected during post creation.

The panel displays specific employees who engaged via reactions, comments, or read confirmations.

How to filter and export engagement data

Filter data

  1. Open the Post Insights panel.
  2. Use the dropdowns to filter by Employee, Group, or Engagement Type.
  3. Click Reset to clear filters.

Export to CSV

  1. Open the Post Insights panel.
  2. Apply optional filters.
  3. Click the Export to CSV button.
Important: Only filtered results will be included in the CSV export.

What types of posts have insights available?
Insights are available for Regular posts, Shoutouts, Recognition, Announcements, Birthdays, and Anniversaries.

Can I see insights for posts I didn't create?
Yes, administrators have access to Post Insights for all posts across the organization.

Do employees know I'm viewing their data?
No, viewing insights is a private administrative function; no notifications are sent.
