How do I change the email address on my Employment Hero account?
  1. On the left-hand side menu, click on People
  2. Then click on Profile
  3. Click on Personal Details
  4. Click on Edit, next to your email address
  5. Add your new email address into the field
  6. Click on Save

How do I use QR codes?

A Quick Response (QR) code stores information such as URLs or contact details, readable by smartphones and QR scanners. We use QR codes on both the HR and payroll platforms.

How do I scan a QR code?

Most smartphones can scan QR codes using the built-in Camera app. Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the built-in Camera app on your smartphone.
  2. Point the camera at the QR code.
  3. Tap the banner that appears on your screen.
  4. You should then be taken to the link in your browser.

Troubleshooting

  1. Check your mobile version
    If you are using an iOS device, you will need iOS 11 or higher. Learn how to update your iOS version. If you are using an Android device, you will need Android nine or higher. Learn how to update your Android version. If you are using another device, please refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines on QR scanning support.
  2. Turn up your brightness
    Make sure your computer screen is bright enough for your device to detect the QR code.
  3. Move your device further or closer
    Check that the entire QR code is in focus on your camera screen.
What details does Employment Hero store during the account recovery process?

Employment Hero temporarily stores the details provided to us during the Account Recovery process to help you get back into your account. Shortly after we verify your identity, the documents provided to us will be deleted from our platform.

How long are my documents stored for?

Regardless of the outcome of your account recovery request, we will destroy your stored documents immediately after the decision. 

This typically takes less than 2 business days, and the documents will be stored no more than 5 business days. If we need to store your information for any more time to help you recover your account, we will inform you first.
