Access the Chart of Accounts in Employment Hero

Available for the following EmploymentOS plans:  Employment Unlimited
Available for the following user access levels: Admin

You can access the chart of accounts from within the Pay section of Employment Hero.


 

Getting started

Connect your Employment Hero account to your accounting software
  1. In Employment Hero, click Pay ($) on the menu.
  2. Under Payroll, click Payroll integrations.
  3. Find the platform you want to integrate with, then under the relevant tile, click Add.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. You will be taken to the login page for the platform you want to integrate. Follow the instructions to log in. Allow Employment Hero access to the platform.
  6. Depending on the type of service you connect to, you may need to complete additional fields such as how you would like pay run data exported. Once you have added your desired settings, click Save.
  7. Once connected, a green Enabled symbol will show on the platform's tile.
Add your default accounts to Employment Hero
  1. In Employment Hero, click Pay ($) on the menu.
  2. Under Payroll, click on Chart of Accounts. 
  3. Click on the Manage Accounts button.
    Now you will see the default accounts appear in Employment Hero.
Enable accounts in Employment Hero
  1. In Employment Hero, click Pay ($) on the menu.
  2. Under Payroll, click on Chart of Accounts.
  3. Toggle on the default accounts. To toggle on, click on the switch. A toggled-on switch will appear purple.
  4. Click on Save Accounts List  at the bottom of the screen.
Set up Chart of Accounts in Employment Hero
  1. In Employment Hero, click Pay ($) on the menu.
  2. Under Payroll, click on Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click on the Default Accounts to expand the section.
  4. Select the accounts using the drop-down menus.
  5. Click on Save.
