A company's Time Off calendar offers a centralized view of all employees' leave, which will promote a transparent and collaborative work environment. It also helps prevent unplanned absences from disrupting work and ensures adequate coverage while employees take time off. Admins can enable the company-wide Time Off calendar through the Custom Security feature. You can also view a Time Off calendar on the dashboard as an admin or manager.
Enable the company Time Off calendar
- Click the Settings menu.
- In the Security & Access Control section, click Permissions.
- Click the Add Permission button.
- Click Skip and configure my own.

Complete the following fields:
Group name
Description
Set permissions for:
- All employees
- Team
- Employee
- Click the Other Permissions tab.
- Select the Time Off Request option.
- Click the Save button.
View the Time Off calendar on the dashboard
You can view a Time Off calendar on the dashboard if you are an admin or manager. There is a calendar widget available on the dashboard. Employees only show up on the Time Off calendar once they have submitted or taken leave in the calendar year. Below is how to view the calendar. A scrollbar appears when a mouse is connected, allowing you to scroll across the calendar. It will be hidden if no mouse is connected.
- Click Home on the left-side menu.
- Scroll down to the widget called Time Off Calendar.
