Persona will then collect your business address.

• First, enter your Physical Business Address using autocomplete or click “edit address manually.”
• For some businesses, the Legal Registered Address differs from the physical address. If this is the case, uncheck “Same as physical address” and enter your registered address as well.

If you’re an owner, check the “I am also an owner” checkbox

1. For each UBO, enter:
   • First name
   • Last name
   • Percentage of Ownership
   • Email address

2. Continue until all UBO’s data is entered

   

After entering the UBO(s) details, you, as the business signing officer, will be asked to attest to the validity of this data.

1. To confirm the information you’ve entered is correct, check the box beside “Please confirm the identity of the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) to complete this part of the verification process.”

1. Pay Verification:

   Please provide documentation that includes the company name, financial institution, account number, and branch/transit number. Acceptable documents include a void cheque or an official bank verification letter. Bank statements will not be accepted.

   Address Requirements
   The address provided must exactly match your business’s legal address. P.O. boxes are not accepted as valid legal addresses.

    

2. Place and History of Business: Provide one of the following documents, ensuring the legal name and address (including any suite number) match exactly what's listed in Employment Hero:

   • Utility bill from the past 2-3 months
   • Articles of Association
   • Certificate of corporate status or incorporation
   • Annual report
   • Partnership agreement
   • Letter/Notice of Assessment

   Supporting Documents for Trade Names

   If your business operates under a trade name that is different from its legal name, please include one of the following documents to verify the name change:

   • Certificate of Amendment or Name Change
   • DBA (Doing Business As) document

   These documents should include the following details:

   • Legal business name
   • Registered business address (must match the address on file with your jurisdiction)
   • Jurisdiction of incorporation or registration
   • Business identification number (e.g., corporation or business number)

    

3. Payor Relationship: These documents should detail the UBO as the company's signing officer or director.
   
   You’ll need to provide one of the following:
    

   • Articles of incorporation
   • Business registration
   • Bank verification letter confirming signing authority

    

   

Select the category for which you’d like to upload a document(s). You’ll be prompted to import the document(s) into Persona. There are three methods to choose from:

• Take a photo with your current device
• Upload from your current device
• Continue on another device

Once all documents in a category have been uploaded, click the Submit button.

Persona will then verify the uploaded documents.

Go through these steps for each document category. Once all three categories of documents have been uploaded and verified, click Submit documents.
