Manage Employment Hero Work clock in and out settings in Employment Hero

Available for the following plans: Platinum, Unlimited
Available for the following User Access levels: Admin    

Mastering employee time tracking is essential for operational accuracy. Employment Hero allows you to restrict clock-in times and automate shift reminders, significantly boosting compliance and reducing manual errors.

Changing Clock in and out settings

Change when employees can clock in and out
  1. From the homepage, click the Time menu.
  2. Click Rostering Management, within the schedules section.
     
  3. Click Employment Hero Work Clock In and Out.

     
  4. You can change the following settings, as per your requirements:
    • Toggle on/off: Allow employees to clock in/out with shift details.
    • How long before a shift starts an employee can clock in.
    • How long after the shift employees can clock out.
  5. When you have changed the settings, click Save.
     
Send clock in/out notification reminders to employees
  1. From the homepage, click the Time menu.
  2. Click Rostering Management, within the schedules section.
     
  3. Click Employment Hero Work Clock In and Out.

     
  4. You can change the following settings, as per your requirements:
    • Toggle on/off: Send employees reminder notifications.
    • Choose when to send the notification if they have not clocked in.
    • Choose when to send the notification if they have not clocked out.
  5. When you have changed the settings, click Save.
