Template types determine who must sign a document before it is finalized. Use the guide below to understand the signing flow for each category.

Signature Requirements

Document Type Signatory Requirement Workflow
HR Documents Single Signed by the Sender only.
Employee Contracts Dual Signed by the Sender, then the Recipient.
Contractor Contracts Dual Signed by the Sender, then the Recipient.
Other HR Documents Dual Signed by the Sender, then the Recipient.

Non-Signature Documents

The following types do not require digital signatures and are used for information sharing or internal record-keeping:

  • Policies: Signatures are not supported for this type. These should be managed via the Policy Feature to track employee acknowledgment.

  • Knowledge Base: Used primarily for internal HR guides.

  • Factsheets: Informational documents used within HR guides; no signature required.
