By connecting your account, you can automatically share announcements from your company's HR feed directly to a Slack channel of your choice. It’s a great way to make sure no one misses important updates from the Employment Hero platform!
Getting started
- In Employment Hero, click on Settings.
- In the Security and Access Control section, click the Add-ons link.
- Scroll down to the Slack add-on option and click the Connect button.
- Select the Slack channel where you want your announcements to be posted.
- Click the Allow button.
Slack will now appear as a Connected Application on your add-ons page.
Further information
The Slack integration can be used to notify users of a recognition, shout-out, or announcement posted on the Employment Hero platform. These messages will then appear on the Slack channel designated for your company feed announcement automation.
No, at this stage, the Slack integration only supports a connection to public Slack channels.
