Scheduling Management lets you add, allocate, delete, publish, and unpublish a shift. You can also create schedule templates, filter schedules by cost centre or employee, and switch to daily, weekly, and fortnightly views. Employees will be able to see their shifts in Employment Hero Work, as Scheduling Management is fully integrated with the Employment Hero Work app. They will also get an email notification each time you publish a shift assigned to them.
Important
Aside from admins, employees, and managers may use the Scheduling Management feature if they are given access via Custom Security Settings. In addition, organizations connected to payroll software (except KeyPay) may now use this feature.
Getting started
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Scheduling Management submenu.
- Click the Schedule Actions button.
- Click the View Employees button.
- Click the employee that needs unavailability added.
- Click the Add button.
- Complete the following fields:
- On the x date
- Until x date.
- All day.
- On an ongoing basis.
- Note.
- Click the Save button.
Edit data
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Scheduling Management submenu.
- Click the Schedule Actions button.
- Click the View Employees button.
- Click the employee whose unavailability needs to be edited.
- Click the Three Dots button.
- Click the Edit button.
- Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Deleting data
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Scheduling Management submenu.
- Click the Schedule Actions button.
- Click the View Employees button.
- Click the employee whose unavailability needs to be deleted.
- Click the Three Dots button.
- Click the Delete button.
- Make the required changes and click the Delete button.
