You can use the HeroForce Employee Request feature to manage your request for a new employee that you have submitted to Employment Hero.
For example, you can view the details of your submission and filter the data displayed on the page. You can also edit a submission if you have not completed all the details and delete an in-progress request that you no longer need.
Getting started
Request a new HeroForce employee
- Click People on the left-hand side menu.
- Click the HeroForce Employees (EoR) submenu.
- Click the HeroForce tab.
- Click the Add HeroForce EoR Employee button.
- In the Choose Country pop-up, click the dropdown and select the country you need.
- On the Summary page, enter the employee's details:
- Name.
- Job title.
- Employment type.
- Intended start date.
- Province or Territory of employment.
- Gross annual salary.
- Estimated payroll costs - This will show all mandatory employer contributions (e.g., CPP/EI, Workers' Compensation) and optional costs.
- Click the Save & Continue button on the lower right-hand side.
- On the Personal Details page, enter the following:
- Legal name.
- Email address.
- Mobile number.
- Residential address.
- Residency status.
- You must also:
- Select their primary manager.
- Upload Identity and work eligibility documentation (e.g., Social Insurance Number).
- Click the Save & Continue button on the lower right-hand side.
- On the Contract Details page, set the following:
- Working hours.
- Probation details.
- Vacation and statutory leave entitlements.
- Add the position description, which should include a summary of the role and detail the responsibilities, relationships, qualifications, experience and skills that are required to meet the performance expectations of this role.
- Click the Save & Continue button on the lower right-hand side.
- On the Additional Details page, you can set up the invoicing and payroll details.
- Click the Save & Continue button on the lower right-hand side.
- On the Preview page, review the details and click Edit if there is anything that needs to be changed or updated.
- Once you are done thoroughly reviewing the document, click the submit button.
- After submission, our HeroForce experts will review the details and reach out to you with the next steps within the next business day.
We will prepare a proposal for your review, including the employment agreement, quote, and associated legal terms.

- Click People on the left-hand side menu.

- You can type the employee's name in the search bar.
- You can also filter by Status or Country/Province.

What happens after you submit a request?
Once you have submitted your request for a new HeroForce employee, our HeroForce experts will run through the following process:
- Review: Our HeroForce experts will review the provided information against Canadian federal and provincial regulations and reach out if any additional information or adjustments are required.
- Proposal: Once we have all the necessary information and it is compliant with local regulations, we will issue a HeroForce proposal for you to review and sign. This proposal outlines the costs, entitlements, and contractual information regarding the HeroForce service.
- Employment Agreement: Once the proposal is signed, we will prepare an employment agreement for your new hire. We will first send this employment agreement to you for review and approval before issuing it to your candidate to sign.
- Onboarding: Once the employment agreement has been signed, we will onboard your new hire into your Employment Hero organization.
