The 360 Review Management feature lets you create a new 360 review. You can choose if you want to include a self-review, who you add as a peer reviewer, and the questions you need to ask. The questions can either be a free-text or a rating scale type. You can also use this feature to remind people to complete a review and also to view a report on the 360 answers provided. 

When setting up a 360 review, you will have two key groups: the reviewers and the subjects. The subjects are the focus of the 360 review, while the reviewers provide feedback on the subject's performance. This feedback is always anonymous.

By default, only organization admins can create 360 reviews. You can permit employees to request feedback from their peers in a 360 review. See the Allow employees to request 360 feedback section of this article to learn how.

Getting started

Create and send 360 review without a template

Important

Only admins can create 360 reviews.

  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the  Create button.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Start date
    • Response date
    • Self Review
  5. Click the Continue button.
  6. Click the Select individuals, teams, locations drop-down button.
  7. In the drop-down menu, select one or more entries you want to add as the subjects and reviewers of the review. (Each individual you select must have at least three peers.)
  8. Click the Continue button.
  9. Under where the form says 'Question', click the drop-down button that says Text and select either Text or Rating Scale (1 – 10).
  10. Type the question or statement in the Enter your question here... box.
  11. Click Add a Question if you would like to add more questions (you can have any variety of text or rating scale-based questions).

    Helpful Hint

    In addition to adding your own questions, you can click the Use Template button if you would like the form to add pre-built questions and/or statements.

  12. Click the Continue button.
  13. Review all the information, then click the Launch button.
  14. You will now see a confirmation page. Click the Close button.
     
Create and send a 360 review using a template

You will need to create a 360 review template first, before you use one. See the Create 360 review template accordion below to learn how to do this.

  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the  Create button.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Title.
    • Description.
    • Start date.
    • Response date.
    • Self review.
  5. Click the Continue button.
  6. Select the required individuals, teams, or locations.
  7. Click the Continue button.
  8. Select between a rating scale, a text question, or both.
  9. Click the Continue button.
  10. Click Use Template.
  11. Select the template you want to use.
  12. Choose between:
    Append: This will add the template questions to any questions you entered.
    Replace: This will replace any existing questions you entered. 
  13. Click Continue.
  14. Check all the information.
  15. Click the Launch button.
  16. Click the Close button.
     
Create a 360 review template
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the Template Management button.
  4. Click the Create 360 Review Template button.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    • Name.
    • Description.
    • Questions.
  6. Select between a rating scale, a text question, or both.
  7. Click the Save button.
     

Daily activities

Send an individual reminder
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the 360 Review that needs an individual reminder sent out.
  4. Click the button.
  5. Click the Send Reminder button.
  6. Click the Got It button.
     
Send bulk reminders
  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the 360 Review that needs a reminder sent out in bulk.
  4. Select the 360 reviews that need a reminder sent in bulk.
  5. Click the  Send Reminder to Selected Reviewees button.
  6. Click the Got It button.
     
View the progress of a 360 review
  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the required 360 Review to view the current progress.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see the progress of the 360 review on your screen.

View the 360 review report

Important

Only users with Owner or Admin permissions can view 360 review reports.

  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click a completed 360 Review to view the report.
  4. Click the button.
  5. Click the View Report button. 

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see your 360 review report on your screen.

View a 360 review template
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the Template Management button.
  4. Click the Three Dots button.
  5. Click the View Details button.
     

Data management

Download a single 360 review report
  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the title of the 360 Review that needs to have a report downloaded.
  4. Click the button.
  5. Click the View Report button.
  6. Click the  Download PDF button.
     
Download your 360 review data as a CSV
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the 360 Review that you want to download data for.
  4. Click the Download CSV button (this will only be visible when the status of the relevant 360 review is marked as Completed).
     
Print the 360 review report
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the 360 Review that you want to print a report for.
  4. Click the button.
  5. Click the View Report button.
  6. Click the  Print button.
     

Editing data

Edit a 360 review template
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the Template Management button.
  4. Click the Three Dots button.
  5. Click the Edit button.
  6. Make the required changes and click the Save button.
     

Removing data

Archive a 360 review
  1. Click the Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the three dots next to the review that you want to archive.
  4. Click the  Archive button.
  5. Click the Archive button on the confirmation pop-up.
     
Delete a 360 review
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the  Delete button.
     
Delete a 360 review template
  1. Click the  Performance menu.
  2. Click the 360 Reviews Management submenu.
  3. Click the Template Management button.
  4. Click the Three Dots button.
  5. Click the Delete button.
     

Allow employees to request 360 feedback

Add a security group and allow employees to request 360 reviews

Important

Employees who request 360 feedback will only see anonymous responses.

  1. Click the Settings menu.
  2. Under General Settings, click the Permission Settings submenu.
  3. Click the New Security Group button.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Group name.
    • Description.
    • Set permissions for - Determine if you wish to enable functionality for all employees, specific individuals or teams. 

      Important

      To understand the terms used in the Security Group permissions page and the access you can grant in each section, refer to this article.

  5. Click Other Permissions - Here you can grant permission to create 360 reviews.
  6. Click the Create button.
