Create a policy report

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following User Access levels: Admin      

As an organization, you will have a range of policies that employees need to read and acknowledge. Having a central place to manage this process will help you track employee compliance easily.

The Policy Report feature lets you create reports you can use to analyse what documentation your employees have acknowledged, or have yet to. Here, you can also download a CSV file of the data, which you can open using CSV-supported software like Microsoft Excel.

Important

Only policies marked as mandatory will be reportable via the Policy Report. This is because employees do not need to acknowledge non-mandatory policy content within Employment Hero.

Helpful Hint

Contractors are included in Policy Reports, and you can sort them via the Personnel Type filter. Personnel refers to both employees and contractors.

Daily activity

Run a policy report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Compliance tab.
  3. Click the Policy Report tile.
  4. Choose from the following filters:
    • Personnel (personnel refers to both employees and contractors)
    • Document.
    • Document Version
    • Policy status.
    • More.
  5. Here you will see your report results.
Remind employees about a policy
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Compliance tab.
  3. Click the Policy Report tile.
  4. Choose from the following filters:
    • Personnel (personnel refers to both employees and contractors).
    • Document.
    • Status
    • Document Version
    • Policy status.
    • More.
  5. Click the Remind button.
  6. If you want to remind all affected personnel, click on the Remind all personnel button.

Data management

Download your Policy Report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Compliance tab.
  3. Click the Policy Report tile.
  4. Choose from the following filters:
    • Personnel.
    • Document.
    • Document Version
    • Employment Status.
    • More.
  5. Click the downward-facing arrow to download to CSV.
