The My Daily Units-Based Timesheets feature allows you to log your units worked each day and also provides additional details to your entries, such as the work type and any corresponding comments.
The feature also lets you edit and delete submitted timesheets as and when required.
Getting started
This section will walk you through how you can submit the units you have worked on at your organization through to your manager for approval.
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Add New Timesheet button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Employee.
- Date.
- Start time.
- End time.
- Work Site.
- Position.
- Break (Add Break start and Break end).
- Comment (Optional).
- Click the Save button.
Manage data
This section will walk you through how you can view, edit and/or delete a timesheet entry you have submitted for approval.
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Filter drop-down.
- Choose the required data range.
- Click the Search button.
Important
The ability to view a timesheet is only available if payroll deductions have processed the timesheet. Use the Clock symbol to see the payroll deductions status of the timesheet. You can access further information on the meaning of the clock symbol in the Definitions: Symbols section of this article.
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Action button.

Helpful Hint
You will now see the details of your timesheet on your screen.
Important
The ability to edit a timesheet is only available if payroll deductions have not processed for the timesheet. Use the Clock symbol to see the payroll deductions status of the timesheet. You can access further information on the meaning of the clock symbol in the Definitions: Symbols section of this article.
- Click the Time menu.

- Click the Edit button.
- Make the required changes and click the Update button.

- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Action button.
- Click the Delete button.
Further information
| Pending | A manager needs to approve the timesheet. |
| Approved | A manager has approved the timesheet. |
| Declined | A manager has rejected the timesheet. |
| Created at | Provides a timestamp of the timesheet creation date |
| Synced at | Provides a timestamp of when the timesheet tried to sync with Employment Hero Payroll. |
| Sync successful | Determines whether the synchronization of the timesheet between Employment Hero and Employment Hero Payroll has been successful. |
| Edited at | Provides a timestamp of the last edit done to the timesheet after a previous Employment Hero Payroll synchronization attempt. |
