Sending and requesting feedback

Available for the following plans: Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR plans: Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access levels: Employee, Manager

Feedback is crucial for personal and business growth, enabling both positive acknowledgements and constructive suggestions. The Feedback feature facilitates the exchange of feedback among all users, allowing for recognition of strengths and identification of areas for improvement. All feedback is collected into a centralised section for employees and managers to review together. Additionally, a comment thread is included to encourage a continuous feedback loop between the sender and receiver.

Getting started

Adding a comment
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Received or Sent tab.
  4. Click the feedback you wish to comment on.
  5. Enter your comment and click the Send button.
     

Daily activities

Giving feedback
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Received or Sent tab.
  4. Click the Give feedback button.
  5. Select the feedback recipient from the Who is this Feedback For drop-down.
  6. Enter the feedback you want to provide in the Your Feedback field.
  7. Use the paper clip to add any required attachments.

    Helpful Hint

    The file types you can upload include PDF, JPG, PNG and GIF, and the file size limit is 10mb.

  8. Select from the following sharing options:

    • Recipients manager.

    Helpful Hint

    Selecting the recipients manager sharing option will send this feedback to the employee's primary and secondary managers.

    • Recipient.
  9. Click the Send button.
     
Request feedback from an employee
  1. Select the Development menu item, then select the Feedback sub-menu.
  2. Select Request Feedback.
  3. Select the feedback recipient from the Who is this Feedback For drop-down.
  4. Enter the feedback you want to provide in the Your Feedback field.
  5. Use the paper clip to add any required attachments.

    Helpful Hint

    The file types you can upload include PDF, JPG, PNG and GIF, and the file size limit is 10mb.

  6. Select from the following sharing options:

    • Recipients manager.

Viewing received feedback
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Received tab.
  4. Click the feedback you wish to view.
     
Viewing sent feedback
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Sent tab.
  4. Click the feedback you wish to view.
     
View reporting employee feedback

Important

A manager can only see feedback for a reporting employee if the sender ticks Recipient's Managers when choosing who to share the feedback with. If this box is unticked, the feedback will only be visible to the sender and recipient.

  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Reporting Employees tab.
  4. Select a direct report from the drop-down.
  5. Click the feedback you wish to view.
     
View all employee feedback

Important

Only Admins and Owners can see feedback for all employees.

  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the All Employees tab.
  4. Select a direct report from the drop-down.
  5. Click the feedback you wish to view.
     

Editing data

Edit a comment
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Received or Sent tab.
  4. Click the feedback you wish to edit.
  5. Click the Three Dots button.
  6. Click the Edit button
  7. Make the required changes and click the Save button.
     

Removing data

Deleting a comment
  1. Click the Development menu.
  2. Click the Feedback submenu.
  3. Click the Received or Sent tab.
  4. Click the feedback you wish to delete.
  5. Click the Three Dots button.
  6. Click the Delete button
